The Milwaukee Campaign to Ban Landmines (MCBL) is an initiative that has been organized by a group of local organizations in support of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines and their efforts to erradicate the production, use, and stockpiling of anti-personel landmines, and to educate the public about the danger that these weapons pose to populations around the world.

Announcements

MCBL to Hold Press Conference at City Hall

    March 1st marks the one year anniversary of the International Treaty to Ban Landmines' entry into force. Both the Office of the Mayor and the Board of County Supervisors will proclaim Wednesday, March 1, 2000 "Landmine Awareness Day in Milwaukee."
