Paris offers unlimited cultural and historic resources with its buildings and monuments, which represent more than 2,000 years of history. Its museums, theatres and libraries are among the finest in the world. In a metropolitan area of ten million, there are a wide variety of ethnic groups and lifestyles. Paris is located in the north of France, conveniently near other areas of interest such as Normandy, Brittany, the Loire Valley, and the Champagne region. 
The University of Paris-Dauphine is located near the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower, in close proximity to the city’s business areas. The campus is easily accessible by public transportation. Between classes students can meet in one of the university restaurants or snack bars. The university library has a collection of 140,000 volumes and 2,000 periodicals and provides a full range of services through its internet facilities and inter-library loans. The student body consists of 7,460 students who are enrolled in three study levels from under-graduate to post- graduate programs.
An education at the Université Paris-Dauphine includes a truly multi-disciplinary teaching approach. In a multi- disciplinary approach to business, the University offers courses in such diverse areas as economics, mathematics, information technology, accounting, finance, law, human religion, languages and the sociology of organizations. Students may attend Paris Dauphine fall semester, spring semester, or academic year. Fall semester runs October to February, spring semester runs February to June and an academic year runs October to June.
