Programs- Summer 2008

Immerse yourself in experiential learning – Spend the Summer in Paris with ACCENT and University of Wisconsin -Milwaukee. Explore Parisian cathedrals, monuments, churches, museums and galleries, as Paris becomes an extension of your classroom while you attend French language classes at the University of Paris - Sorbonne as well as a French Civilization class taught by the program faculty director at on-site locations throughout Paris. Participants on the Summer in Paris Program live in double rooms at the Cité Universitaire international residence campus in Paris and have the opportunity to attend optional excursions organized by the ACCENT Paris Center staff. If only for a month, this is an unforgettable opportunity for anyone who has ever dreamed of living in and learning about Paris!

Credits:

6 undergraduate credits (3 cr. in French language & 3 cr. in French Culture & Civilization).  Graduate students may earn 3 credits with prior approval from faculty leader and admission to UWM with graduate status. 

Participation:

This program is open to all US college/university students.  Preference will be given to UWM students.

Estimated Cost*: $3,600

*Cost includes academic fees, lodging, academic tours and excursions and ACCENT administration. 

*Program fees are based on a realistic estimate of participants.  The cost may change if the exchange rate fluctuates or the minimum number of participants is not achieved.

**There are fee differentials for graduate students and non-Wisconsin residents.

***Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Grants can be used for this program.
