Programs-Summer 2007 Immersion in European Business: Summer in Paris, France May 18 -June 2, 2007 Application deadline: March 15, 2007 with $250 deposit *Please note: The dates listed above are program start dates in-country. Please allow for appropriate travel time.
Overview: UWM’s Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business sponsors this truly unique program to Paris, France. By attending class lectures on various topics in International Business (including US & European Accounting, US Investment in Europe, and the European financial market) and working on group projects at the ACI Business School in Paris, students will earn 3 credits in International Business. In addition, there will be several visits to local businesses, including a trip to French companies, as well as an exciting day-trip to Normandy. As part of the pre-departure coursework, students will be required to attend three Saturday classes to learn about the French language and culture.
Lecture Dates (held in Bus S341)
Credits: 3 Undergraduate or Graduate International Business Credits. Participation: Preference given to students who have taken Finance 350 & UWM students. Graduate students should have completed equivalent courses. Estimated Cost*: 2,800 * *Program fees are based on a realistic estimate of participants. The cost may change if the exchange rate fluctuates or the minimum number of participants is not achieved. **There are fee differentials for graduate students and non-Wisconsin residents. ***Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Grants can be used for this program.
