Programs-Summer 2007 Summer in Paris, France July 1-August 1, 2007 Application deadline: March 15, 2007 with $250 deposit Please note: The dates listed are program start dates in-country. Please allow for appropriate travel time.
Overview: This exceptional program focuses on the fascinating French culture. By attending two courses during the program (French language at the Sorbonne and French Culture and Civilization), students will earn a total of 6 credits. A placement exam is taken prior to the start of classes to determine the appropriate skill level for each student (beginning, intermediate, and advanced). If only for a month, this is an unforgettable opportunity for anyone who has ever dreamed of living in and learning about Paris!
Credits: 6 undergraduate credits (3 cr. in French language & 3 cr. in French Culture & Civilization). Graduate students may earn 3 credits with prior approval from faculty leader and admission to UWM with graduate status. * French Culture & Civ. Course counts toward L&S International requirement
Participation: This program is open to all college/university students. Estimated Cost*: $3381 *Program fees are based on a realistic estimate of participants. The cost may change if the exchange rate fluctuates or the minimum number of participants is not achieved. **There are fee differentials for graduate students and non-Wisconsin residents. ***Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Grants can be used for this program.
