Description
Tokyo, Japan’s capital, is one of the largest and one of the most fascinating cities in the world. With over 15 million residents, Tokyo is a thriving center for Japanese commerce, banking, and technology. It is an exciting environment to live and study in, and offers all the cultural and social amenities one would expect to find from a modern metropolis.
Located in the wooded, residential, southwest section of Tokyo, Seijo University is a private institution. Founded in 1950 with an enrollment of 4,500, Seijo students benefit from modern facilities, small class sizes, and academic excellence in teaching. Seijo is also committed to expanding the international dimensions of its campus through student and faculty exchanges. The academic program includes preliminary intensive Japanese language instruction followed by direct enrollment at Seijo University. Students on an exchange may take a variety of courses, primarily in humanities and social sciences. For more information on Seijo, please consult the website (available in Japanese only).
Dates
The Japanese academic calendar starts during our spring semester. Thus students studying at Seijo will start courses in the spring and continue through the fall semester, rather than start in the fall.
