Description

The Undergraduate Exchange Programme at Sciences Politiques   draws students from over 300 partner universities worldwide. Each year, Sciences Po’s staff, faculty and 7500 students welcome over 1000 exchange students.

Students may participate in the Undergraduate Exchange Programme for a semester or a year. The vast majority of students enroll for one academic year in order to fully benefit from the Exchange Programme. Students may choose to study in English, in French or in both languages.

Exchange students are considered regularly enrolled Sciences Po students, and as such benefit from access to all campus facilities and services: computer labs, email and internet services, libraries, career services, informational resources on housing, etc. Students are encouraged to take part in campus life through the more than 60 student clubs and associations and diverse sports activities, as well as daily conferences and special lectures.

Students participating in the Exchange Programme can choose from the following disciplines or mentions: Economics & Business; European Studies; History; International Relations; Interdisciplinary Studies; Journalism (Spring semester only); Law; Political Science; or Science and Sustainable Development.

To welcome exchange students and help them adapt to their studies at Sciences Po and their life in France, a special orientation program has been developed by the International Office for international students at the start of both the Fall and Spring semesters. The program is optional and requires an extra fee; places are limited and are assigned on a first-come first-served basis.

While providing basic orientation services such as information on housing, residency permits, social security and health insurance, banks, administrative and course registration, the library, and so on, the welcome program’s main focus is to sharpen students’ French skills and introduce them to the specific teaching methods used at Sciences Po.

Exchange students who do not register for the welcome program will be invited to participate in an orientation day before the start of each semester.
