In addition to coordinating many study abroad programs, the Center for International Education office of Overseas Programs and Partnerships offers special prorgams and opportunities. Below is a brief explanation of the different types of programs offered through our office:

The Graduate Student Travel Awards Program has two deadlines per year. The deadline for the next round of proposals is October 14, 2005. For more information on the program, please see the RSA website: http://www.uwm.edu/Dept/RSA/Internal/travel.html

UWM advocates experiential learning opportunities such as interns hips abroad and considers them to be viable way to earn academic credit. Students must follow the UWM Standards for International Internships.
