Culture Cafe

Bringing the World Closer to UWM

Culture Café creates a time and a space for all globally minded members of the UWM community to interact and get to know one another over coffee, snacks and a brief, informal presentation on the featured culture.

Each Culture Cafe features a different country, culture, or society that is presented to the attendees by a UWM international student, faculty member or a return study abroad student.

Many different countries and cultures have frequented Culture Cafe since it's beginning in 2001, including Costa Rica, Armenia, Ireland, Japan, Turkey, Egypt, Cambodia, South Africa, Kyrgyzstan and Sweden.

Culture Cafe is held on every other Tuesday in Garland Hall room 104 from 2:00-3:30pm. All students are invited to attend and share their insights and expertise.
