The following "introductory" courses are required and should be taken in the first two years:
Economics (6 crs):
- Econ 103: Principles of Microeconomics
- Econ 104: Principles of Macroeconmics
Geography (3 crs):
- Geog 110: The World: Peoples & Regions
History (3 crs)-one of the following courses:
- Hist 176: East Asian Civilization
- Hist 180: Latin American Society and Culture
- Hist 206: Europe and the Modern World
- Hist 242: Women and Gender in Europe
- Hist 282: The Modern Middle East in the 19th & 20th Centuries
Political Science (3 crs)-one of the following courses:
- Pol Sci 106: Politics of the World's Nations
- Pol Sci 175: Introduction to International Relations
Foreign Language (14 crs):
- Fourteen credits (about four semesters) in a single foreign language
