Funding Support

The Center for International Education supports and administers a number of grant and fellowship opportunities des igned to strengthen international education in Wisconsin and throughout the United States. This page provides information about some of the funding offered by CIE.

  • CIE Faculty Travel Awards - The Center for International Education provides international travel awards to full-time tenure-track faculty.
  • 2007 CIE Course Enhancement Grants - In order to expand international research and learning across UWM and increase the course offerings available to students for a proposed Global Studies Minor, the Center for International Education (CIE) requests proposals to integrate international and global perspectives into regularly taught UWM courses that are required within a school’s/department’s curriculum. Preference will be given to courses offered in the professional schools and/or sciences.  Proposal Deadline: Friday, Mar ch 9, 2007
