Where in the world can you go for advice on international academic programs at UWM?

UWM's Center for International Education (CIE) is the comprehensive international unit on the UWM campus that houses international academic offices and organizations including the Global Studies Degree Program, Study Abroad, and the Institute of World Affairs.

Visit CIE for advising on:

  • Certificate Programs
    • Asian Studies
    • Middle East & North African Studies
    • Peace Studies
    • Russian & East European Studies

CIE's advisors can provide guidance on course requirements, international internships and study abroad. Whether you have a long-term plan for an international career or are just beginning to explore all of your options, we look forward to the chance to meet with you.

International students needing assistance with admission, immigration issues, and adjustment to life at UWM should contact International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) at (414) 229-4846 or isss@uwm.edu.
