• CDC Resume Writing Guide - How to market your education, experiences, and skills as well as many resume examples.


• Cover Letter Guide - Information on a cover letter format, content, and examples.


• Will Your References Seal the Deal? - Answers to questions related to who should be your references, when and how to provide them to an employer, and how to prepare your references.

• This walk-in service gives you the opportunity to have your resumes and cover letters critiqued by a professional CDC staff member. Express Lane sessions are for 10-15 minutes on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Monday 4:00 - 5:45 pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday 9:30 - 11:30 am
  • Wednesday 2:00 - 4:00 pm
  • Friday 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

• A CDC staff member will present tailored resume and cover letter writing workshops for your student organization, class, or social group and scheduled at a time that is convenient for you. A minimum of 10 participants and two-week advance notice is required. However, a two-week notice does not guarantee staff availability. If interested, complete an online Show on the Road Program Request Form.
