Research Affiliations
The Department maintains strong cooperative research ties with the
nationally recognized
Milwaukee County Zoological Gardens which houses
over 5600 exotic animals on 195 acres; and the and the
Milwaukee Public Museum,
which employs a large curatorial staff of scientists with active
research programs in a variety of biological subdisciplines. The
Department also maintains strong collaborations with basic science and
clinical departments at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
