These challenge exams are administered by the UW-Milwaukee Testing Office which is located in Mellencamp B28. Appointments to schedule the taking of any of these exams can be made by calling the Testing Office at 229-4689 at least one week prior to the planned test day. These challenge exams are administered on Mondays from 10 am - 3:30 pm and Fridays from 10 am - 2 pm. Please note the time allotted for each exam. Schedule an appointment so the exam can be completed during the testing office times indicated. It may take 2 weeks after taking the exam for your scores to be processed. Please contact the Biological Science advisors for your exam results and appropriate advising.
Students are also eligible to take the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exam to challenge and obtain credit (4 cr) for BioSci-150 Foundations in Biological Sciences-I. Contact the Testing Office for scheduling.

Course Challenge Exam Policy
Students with comparable courses from other institutions may challenge out of some introductory courses in the Biological Sciences Department by examination. Passing of a challenge exam will not provide credit toward the major but does indicate adequate knowledge to take higher level courses for which the challenge course is a prerequisite. Challenge exams are offered for BioSci-150 and 152 Foundation in Biological Sciences I & II, BioSci-101 General Survey of Microbiology and BioSci-203 Anatomy and Physiology II. Please see a Biological Sciences advisor for evaluation your previous courses to determine if you are eligible to take any of the specific challenge exams.
