Kenneth Bendiner (PhD Columbia University 1979) has published three books on English art of the Victorian period, and one book on food in painting. He has also written on Matisse, Rauschenberg and other 20th-century artists. His teaching areas include the history of the decorative arts and photography. At the moment he is studying photographic portraiture, specifically portraits of U.S. presidents.
