Last year I graduated from Parker High School in Janesville, WI.
Presently, I am enjoying dorm life here at UWM and I have met many great people.
I love to play volleyball and softball, watch movies at Flicks every week, spend time with my friends and family, and most of all, I LOVE MATH!
My goals right now are to do well in college and learn as much as I can so that I will graduate with a degree that will
immensely help me in my profession. I hope that when I am a teacher I will be able to teach students important material in order to make them more intelligent and more understanding of why it is so crucial to know and appreciate mathematics.
If I achieve this goal, students will look at a brighter future for themselves and it will also help to make them more successful.

I’m from a tiny town called Mayville, WI. My interests lie in engineering and physics and especially
the combination of those subjects in Aerospace/Aeronautical
Engineering which I hope to study after completing my ME
undergrad.

Hi, my name is Adam.
I'm a new student to UWM. I grew up in Oshkosh
Wisconsin. In my spare time I do sports; these include soccer, running, snowboarding, and sailing. After I complete my education at UWM, I am either going to travel as much as I can, or join the armed forces.

I was born and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Ever since my family bought an Apple IIe computer, I have become fascinated by the inner workings of computers.
Initially, I experimented with system files, hardware, and computer code.
When I began high school at Waukesha North, I started some larger projects.
One of these projects was Speech Writer, a text-to-speech and speech recognition text editor.
I developed an interest in linguistics, which led to studies of phonetics and the development of an experimental writing system named 12480.
12480 was a way for me to connect human language with computer language.
During this time, I also developed Web sites and various programs in C++, Java, and Visual Basic.
I started a Cisco networking internship at Waukesha Engine in my senior year.
I repaired computers, squelched computer viruses, aided with the management of the aged FoxPro 2.6 databases, and now I am working on a special project in the product development department.
This project deals with Java 2 Microedition (J2ME) and handheld devices such as cell phones and PDAs.
All of these events have prepared me for a career as a computer programmer, systems analyst, or linguist/missionary.
