Virtual Learning (WUWM
Interview, February 19, 2007)
Virtual high schools are popping
up left and right in Wisconsin and the U-S. The programs allow
students to earn a four year high school diploma without ever stepping
foot in a school. Right now Wisconsin is in the midst of its open
enrollment period. That's when students can enroll in schools that
aren't in their district including online programs. For kids who have
trouble functioning in a traditional school online learning provides
another option. WUWM's LaToya Dennis has more.
